TASC State Project

TASC is excited once again to partner with St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.  St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay. Unlike any other hospital, the majority of our funding comes from individual contributions. And thanks to generous donors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude.

TASC...thank you for helping St. Jude Children's Hospital this year!  Please take the time and submit a google doc report form for each project this year that your council participates in or initiates.  If your council would like to work towards the TASC Council Platinum Award at the end of the school year, then you must submit at least one project dedicated towards St. Jude.  This project can either be a fundraiser, a collection of supplies/gifts, or an awareness activity.  This google document will be sent directly to the TASC student vice-president Drew Edwards from Arlington High School, along with his advisor, Sarah Kelley.  A report will be made at the spring state convention regarding this year's TASC involvement.
